About Our Summer Camps
8 years of coaching excellence
Are you considering speech and debate training for your 12-18 years old? Wondering if it's something they would enjoy? Our 2-day Intro to Speech and 3-day Intro to Policy Debate camps provide exposure to the benefits and life skills developed through speech and debate. Students leave camp inspired and excited about the progress they made and friendships they built in just 2-3 days. Many go on to grow their skills to a high level of competence through competition, opening up college scholarship and internship opportunities that they never considered before! Our camps provide the foundational training necessary to join a local club for the 2012-2013 competition season.
Is your student considering a future in legal studies? Our Moot Court camp opens up the world of appellate law to high-school students, providing the exposure and training necessary for students considering Moot Court competition.
This summer, we have also added new Writing and World History seminars to continue our tradition of helping students sharpen their analytical and critical-thinking skills. These workshops are geared toward students preparing for the AP English World History exams.
We look forward to seeing your students this summer for training of that is a notch above!
Our son attended his first DFW Speech and Debate camp last summer and came home not only well prepared but also very excited to try various speech events as well as Team Policy debate. His enthusiasm about your experienced instructors was clearly contagious! The skills he acquired through Intro to speech and Intro to Team Policy debate provided the necessary foundation to build on throughout the year and eventually helped him qualify for both Regional and National competitions. Heartfelt thanks to Suzanne Nasser and staff for instilling a passion and excitement for such a worthwhile endeavor. This summer he is already looking forward to Extemporaneous and Advanced Team Policy camps! - Melissa Warren (parent) |
